Yeah I think JFK assassination although I was already familiar with Walter Conkite I don’t remember any story sticking in my mind till this one. We were out of school for Thanksgiving weekend and glued to the tv watching while Oswald got shot by Jack Ruby. Good thing the tv was b&w back then.
