What is the first news story you remember being broadcast on television (as a child)?

Mine was on a television like this, in black and white and it was of the assassination of JFK.

I remember that they broadcasted pics from planet Mars back in the 90s. I must've been 7 or 8. It's a fuzzy memory but there was something that looked like a table, lol
