Florida says they are banning " Double mastectomies on girls under 18 and chemical castration on boys under 18"

Which one of these descriptions is more truthful?

Funny how the bill had nothing to say about routinely cutting off of baby dick skin in Florida. It's almost like this law is about far right culture war bullshit and not actually protecting kids.

@FreeSpirit1 No, I'm not. Unlike circumcision, the mastectomies are done on teenagers who at least understand what's going on, and for whom a credible health reason has already manifested itself. And also unlike circumcision, the HRT (which I assume is what you're referring to) is fully reversible. It also bears mentioning that DeSantis isn't actually trying to ban all double mastectomies or hormone therapies; he's trying to do it specifically in cases where it's being used to address gender dysphoria.
