@GrinNude My belief is that nuclear tech is discouraged by the existing power structure because they are worried about nuclear proliferation. There are ways to make nuclear power plants that cannot produce weapons grade material but that's not if interest to governments, they want nuclear weapons, but they want to be the only people with access to them

@plungesponge Nuclear power is too expensive. Especially when you add in the costs of waste management and decommissioning. Tidal Energy is clean and predictable.
