Just had like 5 or 6 inches of my hair cut off 😮

@MellyMel22 yeah my hair grows fast already & I have a lot of friends & relatives who are beauticians so they've been telling me that but didn't wanna talk me into it because they know how it is to cut & regret 😅
I asked for this haircut myself so my Tia gladly did it for me 😌 but I know a few people who are gonna be upset with me for not letting them do it 😂 family first tho 🤷

@ChiefJustWalks Thank you, you do too! I get that. I remember as a teen new stylist pushing to do mine, I think it was the length they liked. I’m not sure, was strange. Then when I moved I asked a new stylist to trim my *ss length hair that was all one length and the lady cut the back in a V shape and I lost it. I guess she thought I was young and wouldn’t complain. I had to cut so much off to get it one length. The woman who did it first cut it lopsided. I was like wtf is wrong with these people over here?! Then I learned my gram’s best friend’s son was a big stylist over here and he fixed a couple of things people screwed up. Now I trust no one cause he moved 😂

@MellyMel22 oh no that's horrible 😭 its hard to trust anyone with your hair. Even when I used to get it regularly cut as a teen I was particular about which barbers I trusted lol.
But damn thats annoying when they do extra shit without asking if you want that or not.

My younger brother has a receding hairline & once his barber like, put some paint type stuff on his forehead to make it look like a hairline 😂 (which is common). But my brother was so pissed that the guy didn't ask, he never went to that barber ever again 🤣

You have no idea the horrors I had with stylists. Once my friend bought me a certificate to a fancy one for my birthday and wanted to go together and the lady saw me look at her in the mirror and she said to my friend, “she gonna punch me, isn’t she?” I wanted to kill her. I asked for thick front layers and she cut half my hair all around one length like a mushroom I guess. If that happened now I’d be in jail. I cut my own and it’s never as bad as those experiences.
