@Nitedoc Not really. Both guns and abortion are very popular, and passing laws against them will only inconvenience people who want them both. The only way to eliminate guns and abortion would be a police state.

@MrBrownstone My point exactly. You can't outlaw something popular and expect success. We're going to see similar results with the current attempts to outlaw abortion.
