American insanity -- again

So, a woman who willing had sex with a man in his car is now claiming he gave her the HPV virus and so is suing his automobile insurance company for $5+ million dollars in damages???? And not only was the lawsuit allowed into court, she may win???

I read geico insisted on arbitration. The ruling was agsinst then for 5.2M and they're whining that they didn't get their day in court.

@SooperSarah But what the hell does having consensual sex with someone have to do with their auto insurance???? How did it even get to arbitration and not just laughed out of ANY court???

@ChipmunkErnie he knew he had it and didn't tell her. She argues that since it happened in his car it's covered by his liability insurance. It doesn't make sense to me, but I won't lose sleep over an insursnce company taking a hit to the pocketbook.

@SooperSarah I'm with Geico on this, and as to who cares -- NO insurance company pays, they just pass the cost on to policy holders, so it's us, the public who pays.

@ChipmunkErnie I don't know the details but I guess she made the argument his car was part of what caused her harm. That's what the insurance company is supposed to "make right" according to the judge.
