oh I SEE it. It's EVIDENT for me.

Natural gas MIGHT work but natural gas gets expensive and reducing your demand for Natural gas will SAVE YOU MONEY.

So having a Furnance AND a heat pump makes complete sense.

You use The furnace as auxilary heat and the heat pump as primary.

so when the heat pump stops working it switches to burning gas!

and you burn less gas thus saving $$$

Yep. And having a wood stove for "just in case" doesn't hurt either.
