Hand guns in the USA are not going away soon.

We grew up with them on TV and in games. Gun training was a right of passage in school. In scouts it was a coveted merit badge. But, you know what? I've never shot one. I have my dad's old ACP that probably needs to have the barrel re-reamed but I figured the accuracy would be too bad to make it worth using. About the only way you could reduce hand gun usage now would be to change the caliber of the bullets. Make them .002 inches bigger in diameter so they jamb in the barrel.
Now there's a good idea to phase them out!

Because of the nature of my work, sometimes I need to carry a concealed weapon, but honestly, I don't like it. It makes you feel different somehow. My big muzzleloader on the hand, I enjoy taking it to a shooting range and target shooting with it.

Anyone over thirty with common sense that has one has enough bullets to last the rest of their lives, (two). The young folks who are emotionally unbalanced and are romanticizing gun violence need to be restricted.
