Texas is asking Texans to conserve energy this weekend

after 6 powerplants went down on Friday. Texas still can't keep up with supply and demand. Will Texans be asked to not use air conditioning this weekend so Corporations can keep theirs on?

I thought Republicans loved spending money on infrastructure. Lol
@AthrillatheHunt Nope, tax breaks for the rich. Or in this case money from homeowners to compensate for Corporations with high electric bills.

@Pitchblue I thought those same homeowners didn’t pay a state income tax ?
TX is def attractive for business these days .
But reps always talk about the need to spend on infrastructure . I guess talk is all they do. Lol
@AthrillatheHunt No personal Income tax but there's a sales tax. The bankruptcy laws let you keep far more than other states. That's why criminals like OJ and Trump Org end up in Florida.

@Pitchblue I though we were talking about TX ?
Florida has long been a tax haven for retirees just like Delaware is a business tax haven .
They have to attract money somehow .
Texas is trying to attract businesses w their policies and it appears to be working .
@AthrillatheHunt Sorry, right.
