If it requires proof of I'D,address, etc then i wont join it.
He has supported censorship in the past.
No reason to believe he wont in the future.

@Entwistle can you give an example of supporting censorship in the past?
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@hdiddle Yes he blocks people on twitter whom he disagrees with.
You can go look up other examples if you are genuinely interested.

@Entwistle I don’t think you understand. Blocking someone on Twitter is like blocking them here. It’s only for that user’s peace of mind. The blocked account doesn’t get censored at all

I wasn’t able to find any other examples, that’s why I’m asking

@hdiddle Feeling the need to block someone is in effect censoring them. In blocking them
you are denying them the right to say what they wish. Its not hard to understand at all tbh.

@Entwistle No, they aren't denying them the right to say anything. Then can still use the platform freely. The only difference is that Elon won't see their posts, and it's his right not to if he doesn't want to.

Sometimes blocking someone is done because they're being annoying

@hdiddle Its okay, you are allowed to be wrong.
hdiddle · 26-30, M
@Entwistle Everyone is allowed to be wrong! You, however, are misunderstanding the point of social media blocks if you think that they are the same as censorship in any way, shape or form.
