Why don’t we resurrect Curtis Lemay and bomb all of their conceivable uranium making facilities and scientists into oblivion? We can’t let Iran continue merrily along. This is but one example.

LeMay was George Wallace's running mate for a while until the Wallace campaign cut him. You have to be pretty crazy to make George Wallace uncomfortable.
@jackjjackson Obviously, you've never served in the military. Officers physically attacking subordinates is generally frowned upon, at least in the U.S. military. I'm sure it's considered normal in the North Korean military. How do you think they get those guys to march in formation like that?

Of course. The nukes hit civilians. We all know that. That ended the war. Had Japan somehow won after that a lot of Americans would have been hung. @LeopoldBloom
@jackjjackson War in the 20th century was marked by massive civilian casualties, mostly from air bombardment. This wasn’t the case in earlier wars when armies tended to fight each other in open areas away from cities.
@jackjjackson I didn't mean to imply that there were [i]no[/i] civilian casualties. But most deaths in the Civil War and earlier were combatants unless you were unlucky enough to be in the way.
