No, it is not regarded as one of the greatest expressions of justice in history.
The quotes are meant to illustrate the universality of the concept of justice throughout history and across cultures. Harvard’s students and faculty considered over 150 quotes.
The librarians validated their authenticity/historical context before settling on the 32 quotes now displayed.
@Moon3624 Sorry If I mis-addressed my comment. It was basically intended to address the subject matter, and of course the absurd contention that the quoted verse "is regarded as one of the greatest expressions of justice in history".
They would never post anything from the Bible, there. The Bible is viewed as hateful, intolerant and whatever else they can attach to it. Everything is twisted around in society now. That is a gross understatement of course.
@Really not law students only but staff members too. no one is enforcing anything on you lmfao it’s what the university researched liked and decided to put on their wall because they believe it’s a great example of justice
@Really why are you so tense lmao the verse talks literally about justice and it’s importance 🤨 + by the university of Harvard who put it on their wall in the entrance of law faculty for best expressions of justice. Furthermore Dean of the law school, Martha Minow, noted: “The words on these walls affirm the power and irrepressibility of the idea of justice. They give testimony to the endurance of humanity’s yearning for fairness and dignity through law.”
There is no such thing as justice. Anytime someone talks about justice they are either lying or buying into a lie. And Allah by any name, Yahweh or Jehovah, is a load of crap.
@hunkalove if you “want” to live in a world where there is no justice and people get away with their awful crimes then that is you. As for me, I’d like to live in a world that tries as much as possible to establish justice among people despite of their color statue and beliefs etc The Quran further says : {Do not let the hatred of a people lead you to injustice. Be just! That is closer to righteousness.} 5:8
Though I do agree with you, we live in a sad corrupt world where the strong eats the weak And is far from “justice” However, that doesn’t mean justice cannot be done or shouldn’t be aimed /hoped for.
As for you to believe in my religion or not , your beliefs are not my business or the purpose of my post ✋🤚
