Drones 馃槖 (Fix the acceptable length of the titles, this is frustrating...)

Yesterday I was enjoying my walk in the woods when suddenly I heard buzzing somewhere above my head in the trees. 馃槧 You can't have peace anywhere. This is seriously disconcerting.

Try having an owl scrape your ski-cap off you at midnight.

Oh, I know why it did that. Still very disconcerting when you don't expect it.

@DeWayfarer At midnight in the woods? 馃槼
DeWayfarer61-69, M
@CrazyMusicLover I lived in the mountains.
CrazyMusicLover31-35
@DeWayfarer Oh, then you could expect all kinds of things to happen. Why did it do that though? Defending its territory?
DeWayfarer61-69, M
@CrazyMusicLover the worse knew better. Mountain lions had plenty of smaller game. Plus I had done it many times before and did so many times again. Just made sure I wasn't around its nest from there on.

Lived there 12 years.

@DeWayfarer I definitely wouldn't want to meet a mountain lion. 馃槼

@CrazyMusicLover have many times. Bobcats as well. Leave them alone they will leave you alone.

Only time you need to be concerned is if there's little game! That just never happened. Coyotes everywhere.

Lost a cat to coyotes though. 馃槩

@DeWayfarer Poor cat :(

Are bobcats dangerous to people? This is the first time I hear about them. We have lynxes but they are extremely rare to see. They avoid people as much as possible. Are bobcats like that too?
And coyotes? I can imagine they try to avoid people too.

@CrazyMusicLover similar yet slightly larger if I remember right. Around 40 to 50 pounds. They have a snub type face so you could never mistake one for a very young mountain lion. Mountain lions can get to 90 pounds.

Yes, actually all three avoid people. And they all can smell us a mile away. I was lucky.
