I Love Being In the Woods

Just a common stroll in the woods with a company of finches, titmice, nuthatches, woodpeckers and black hawks.. 😐️

I have seen a sparrowhawk attacking a small bird in a tree last summer. I was on a walk and when I passed a tree, which is close to a couple houses, I heard a lot of noise coming from the tree top, which was covered by leaves, and saw a lot of movement. Then two birds fell out of the tree - literally. When the sparrowhawk saw me, it flew away and the little bird could save himself. It was screaming for its life!

@CrazyMusicLover Yes, it was amazing! I felt happy for the little bird but also a bit sad for the sparrowhawk. It was hungry and I spoiled his lunch. I hope he got a meal elsewhere.

But great to see that they still exist in our countryside!
