I Like To Wear Shorts In The Winter

I never did. My parents always put me into shorts, I never wore any long trouser in my life.

This was ok for you? And your friends accepted this?

@Barefoooter: It was ok for me and I had no choice. Sometimes I had very cold legs but it is comfortable.
My friends accepted it but in wintertime they always ask how I can go with bare legs.

But it seems to be your own style now and you don't want to change it, right?

@Barefoooter: Yes, but I don't know if I'd change it if my parents allowed. But I'm ok with wearing shorts. Sometimes I don't like to get comments.

Did your parents even explained why they are not willing to allowed you wearing long trousers?

Yes, that boys have to be in shorts, they get more resistant like that. And I am never sick.
MOther also says I look good in shorts.

In my boyhood I wasn't allowed to go barefoot in public or at school, and I yearned for living barefoot so much.

@Barefoooter: I am barefoor at home and in our garden but never outside. Why weren't you allowed then?

It wasn't common in that time.

That's right. Perhaps you should not only renounce long trousers but also shoes.

@Barefoooter: I like to be barefoot but I'd be afraid of broken glasses and other dirt. Also people stepping on my feet on the crowded bus.

I am living barefoot for more than 25 years, and I never hurt my feet on broken glas. Barefooters are sensitive and keep an eye on their way. In full buses and other crows somebody steps on my bare feet quite often, but my feet are tough. You are right, feet get dirty by walking barefoot. On the end of a barefoot day especially my soles are extremely dirty quite often, but that doesn't bother me. Feet are washable.

@Barefoooter: I wouldn't like to wash me soles every time I get home from somewhere.

I wash my fet before going to bed.

@Barefoooter: I would need to wash it when I come home cos we have carpet in the house and if I make it dirty, I get punished with the belt.
