@Magenta I come from a family of loggers and lumbermen. I worked in the woods timber cutting years ago.

@Spumoni Oh wow. What river? We used to frequent and sometimes swim in the Rogue River.

@Magenta North Fork Willamette, about 3 miles above Westfir.

Oh the Rogue has some excellent places to swim, so does the Umpqua.

@Magenta I may bring my mountain bike up to wear I'm staying since the trails are all over the place.

@Magenta Larison Trail is awesome. Couple miles of downhill. Bout 3000' to 1200' elevation change. Very popular trail.

@Spumoni Ah interesting. I haven't lived there since I was 15, so am not familiar with the mtb trails.
