Palette of Dawn

Here, beneath this vast, becoming sky,
the pale whisper of morning stretches
The sun's prelude brushing the horizon,
where night meets days' unfolding color.

Soft hues spread in quiet reverence,
flushing lavender and mauve
inviting eyes to drink in wonder without sound or rush.
Moments laden with the sensation of a new day.

When I was young, I was a paperboy and for a year straight, I saw new day start while I was out. Every morning was beautiful and different, still my favorite time.
