@Cierzo: The (former) kingdom of Aragon. The locals would not be happy if you told them I mixed their region up with Castile. ;-)

@Cierzo: Interesting. Have you read the book "Vanished Kingdoms" by Norman Davies? There is a chapter on the kingdom of Aragon in it.

@Cierzo: It is a very good book. I have read several chapters but have not finished the book yet. It tells the stories of various vanished states and kingdoms in Europe over the last 1,500 years or so. Very interesting indeed.
