There goes the neighborhood

The summer home next door is now being rented by the week. I am an early riser (usually around 4:30AM) and in the summer, I "shower" in the lake before morning coffee.....unfortunately, the neighbors this week seem to have the same schedule and idea and didn't notice that I was already in the water when they came down to the beach to skinny dip as well.

I tried to exit the lake unnoticed, but that did not work out and the gal screamed in surprise. The harbor is like an echo chamber, so....

In my younger days, I would have been unphased, however this woman felt it was necessary to come over and apologize just a bit ago. I told her no apology was necessary, but I guess I am going to have to change my schedule or start bringing a towel down to the water's edge.

On a positive note....she looked better than I did...that and the water was not cold.
