I Love Summer Dresses

I wore one of my light summer dresses with sandals to work today. I didn't think twice about dressing this morning, I just wanted to feel comfortable and colourful. But I am working with women from other countries and cultures and there were times when I felt vulnerable and exposed. Some of them stared at me. Others touched my arms and legs, which made me quite nervous. Perhaps I am over-reacting, because no one actually said anything and the majority were being very friendly. But unfortunately I was not completely comfortable 😟

no one has a right to touch you no matter what you wear ,
and what you wear is not a sign "Rape me " or its ok to touch me .
But I have always cautioned my girls to not bring unwanted attention to themselves ,,
If they are careful ,it keeps me from having to killing perverts that way .
in todays society, asking People ,not just men ,to have and show a little self control is getting tougher .
If they solicit undercover cops in city parks just sitting on a bench
expose themselves and do lewd acts ,being warned a sting will be going on .
Sorry to say its a sign of the times ,and its not going to get better
It is going to come down to "What you have a right to do "
And when and where is it wise to do it ,
but it is sad when you can't even feel comfortable around co workers at work
