I Love Summer

I was coming back from town with Katya yesterday when our bus broke down on a country road 🙄 We couldn't stay on the bus while we were waiting to be rescued because it was like a greenhouse in the sun with no air conditioning. So we went into an adjacent meadow and had an impromptu evening picnic with the cheese and doughnuts we had bought at market 😃

We took off our shoes and sat surrounded by banks of wild flowers, exotic scents, butterflies, and chirruping crickets. It was glorious 😌
