cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
@BrandonWyatt36 The worst has passed. They are showing on TV tree branches down in the streets in a lot of places.
@cherokeepatti Enough to uproot trees. Be careful.
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
Yikes. Hope you're alright.
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F

@SweetMae look at your roof if you can see it from a window, will look like BB's hit it and check your siding and outdoor furniture, a few years back our house suffered major damage
SweetMae · 70-79, F
@saragoodtimes Oh no!! That could be costly.
saragoodtimes · F
@SweetMae yes, hail brings out a lot of storm chasers, beware of scams. if you see them in your neighborhood call your insurance co they'll send out an appraiser

Had severe storms here also. Still no power for most folks. We have a recently renovated investment property that's pretty much destroyed those trees were supposed to come down this week. But we and my boats are safe
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
@MarineBob A lot of people lost power and their groceries too. Stopped at a 7-11 this morning on our way home and they said it was closed, employees there probably gathering up the refrigerated and frozen foods to discard. Saw a couple of twisted up trampolines outside of the fences and a whole lot of broken tree branches.
Musicman · 61-69, M
I hope you are okay and never lost power.
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
@Musicman I went outside to see how close the residential fireworks were (very close and all around here). Saw lightening in the north. I looked on the local news weather site and saw what it was doing. His grandpa called him and warned him to get home. He was. The driver for the rest of the boys and should have started taking them home but they were still at the park watching fireworks and he thought it would be fun to stay. They had to scramble but had sense to drive to the parking garage and wait it out, it started hailing.
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
@Musicman I didn’t see the photos or anything on TV like that. They were on the ground doing weather reports in separate areas around the OKC area. But as hard as the wind was blowing I got anxious. Then they sounded an alert on the phones but it had already started here.
Musicman · 61-69, M
@cherokeepatti Staying is definitely more fun than leaving early to be safe. When we were younger we all did stuff like that.
saragoodtimes · F
2 days in a row we didn't get them despite being under a watch both days
