Great photography.

Some nights, at the farm, it is perfectly still, and the fireflies and their reflections put on a show over the mirror-smooth water on the lake. The singing crickets and bull frogs only add to the ambiance...and if we are lucky, a distant "Boomer" drifts by in the distance putting on its own light show, with some added deep booms. It's incredible to see and smell the fresh air from the storms' outward flow.
Great pics!

@Livingwell We just got back, spent 2 weeks up there for Labor Day, and there were a lot of storms at night. I could hear them groan and see the flashes of light from the distant lightning. It's worth getting up and sitting out on the balcony to take it all in.

@TexChik it's such a treat to watch them. Mine lasted over an hour.

I love watching passing storms. We had some off-shore last night and I was at the rocks watching them! :)
