End of the first week of April

I look out my window and can hardly see the lights in the house across the street. Snow is falling. A few hours ago I did my walk without stepping on any snow. Not now. Oh well at least I saw a robin yesterday. The first robin I have seen in 2026! Spring is here!!

Tell the robin to go fly south.

Spring doesn't arrive in most of Canada until July.

@Thinkerbell Well the robin was being guarded by a Canada goose. It walked right up to me. I wasn't about to pet the cobra chicken though. Those beaks hurt.

Yeah, you can't be too careful with those mean geese... especially when they find that they returned to Canada too early in the year.
