I Love Spring and the Promise of New Beginnings

Finally!

Spring has found me here in Australia. After such a cold (for Oz) winter, the sun is smiling, surrounded by the most lovely and soft, egg blue sky. It's almost as if the grey skies have gently sighed and bade farewell and welcomed the new, yet pale birth of the beautiful blue , up above.

The birds, so silent for so long have also welcomed this day as a long lost and almost forgotten friend as they sing a new song, each one slightly different but combined to form such a beautiful symphony of sweet and pure sounds.

Oh, what a wonderful time and what a beautiful reminder of the joy of Spring that awaits us, each day, until our glorious summer melts away the freshness and lightness. But until then, I will enjoy this brief and shining moment in time....

Very poetic.. Possibly my favorite time of year..all that promise. Its all ahead, longer days and warmth..waiting for nature to a come to life x
Such a lovely description of Spring. Your 'Ode to Joy' was obvious in your words. :) BTW, how does an egg blue sky look exactly?

Hello Vivaci,
Thank you for your comments. Well, my clumsy non Schiller type description is a pale blue sky, slightly washed out but almost as if the sky was born anew and just taking on its richer bluer colours.
Hope that makes some sense?🤔
Ohhhh! Now I get it...you meant like egg-washed?! How beautiful that cloudy haze of blue, huh? I get a clear picture now, thank you. You should post Spring pics if possible. ☺
