It's really dropping the snow here.

One thing I have always enjoyed about snow storms like this is how it reflects all the light and brightens up the night sky. It's been dumping the snow like crazy and has covered the ground pretty fast in one day really adding to how bright it is out there.

In Maine, where winter's grip holds tight,
A spring storm weaves its icy might.
Snow and freezing rain, they fall,
Upon the land, a frozen pall.

The landscape cloaked in white and frost,
In Nature's grasp, all is lost.
From Cumberland to York's domain,
The storm's cold hand leaves its stain.

With power gone, and roads ice-bound,
Mainers chisel, break, and pound.
Trees and lines, they bow and break,
As Mother Nature's fury takes.

But amidst the chaos and the cold,
Mainers brave, their spirits bold.
In hardship, unity they find,
Facing the storm, heart and mind.

Yet through it all, a hope remains,
That spring will come, and break these chains.
For in Maine's heart, resilience lies,
Beneath the snow-filled, wintry skies.

@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays Another nice poem. Definitely someone who spent more than a season here wrote that.
