Snowflake Dreams

In the falling snow I see.
A million things
That looked like dreams
Falling from the sky so free
Drifting oh so idly

To lay upon the frozen ground
Building up all around
Drifts to build
Without a sound
As winter's wind
Comes blowin 'round

Sun to shine
and shed some light
Bring some heat
In bitter spite
And before I knew it
Spring arrived
And the snow had melted
And the dreams had died

To melt and trickle
To flow away
Making room
for Reality.
