If Trump was President, I'm sure the Black Congressional Caucus, BLM, Rainbow PUSH and Al Sharpton would be storming the halls of congress decrying

racism and demanding that he take action to help the people in Jackson, Mississippi. If 1 million blacks die on Biden's watch, they won't blink an eye. Black Lives Matter is just some BS democrats created to promote progressive agendas.

Just a little digging revealed that, yes, the federal, government is already there:

And that this was what happened to quite a bit of the money sent to address what’s been an ongoing issue since last April:

Guess this is what the Wheel landed on this morning at Fox News, huh?

@SevIsPamprinYouAlways Jackson, Mississippi has had issues with its water systems for decades now. However, the floodwaters have exacerbated the problems resulting a crisis. Residents of Jackson are without running water. They are unable to take showers. People are waiting in long lines for hours in the scorching heat just to get water to drink. The situation is dire and the federal government isn't doing much about it.

@RocktheHouse Sounds like the state of Mississippi itself hasn’t placed much value on making those repairs a priority, from everything I’ve read. Several members of their congressional delegation belonging to the GOP voted against the infrastructure plan, including one from the district where the water plant belongs.

And then there’s this little nugget, from NPR, about an attempt to secure more funding through the Mississippi Legislature last year, only for it to to be vetoed by its GOP governor:
