I Love Taking Care of My Plants

A few years ago I planted strawberry seeds and now I have two strawberry plants that give us strawberries every year. This year I have also planted apple seeds, orange seeds, raspberry seeds and cucumber seeds. I hope to be able to have plenty of fruit trees and bushes around. I also have a lot of roses in my garden and a few tulips. I love to water them and to watch them grow taller

Thanks! I've only seen the shoots for the apple and orange trees today, so they're getting on. I also have a relative who has an allotment with two apple trees in it, so I am free to go and pick them whenever. She grows lots of other things too, do you have any plants growing?
@randompi: Not much currently, some pepper plants and a mango and a banana. I do a lot of Native landscape plants though.

Ahh I've tried to grow peppers but they never did germinate, and I doubt I could ever grow banana trees here because it is too cold for them to thrive, unless I got a greenhouse to keep it in
@randompi: Lol I'm in south Florida bananas and mangoes grow like weeds here

Ah, right now I live in the UK so we don't really get the kind of hot weather that Florida and other areas of America get
@randompi: That's awesome! Have you visited any of the Kew botanical gardens in UK? I've always wanted to visit

No I can't say I have. They're at the opposite end to me, so I would have to plan a trip to get there
@randompi: our veggie growing season here is coming to an end. It gets too hot in the summer for most veggies. It'll start in the fall again
