@Ghostinthemachine I'm not sure of their scientific name but Hens & Chicks is all I've ever known them as

@NativePortlander1970 beautiful!!
@Tumbleweed They are indeed, and outlawed by the DEA, which that bureaucracy also ordered Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's Presidential Library, to dig up their centuries old red poppy garden the estate was famous for, planted in honor of Flanders, as Jefferson had a deep love for France as he was the Ambassador there during the Recolutionary War.
@Ghostinthemachine @Tumbleweed Thank you for the education. I can’t wait to see them in bloom 🙂

@Ghostinthemachine I've never seen them bloom but they do get really big
@Tumbleweed Do you plan on replanting them in the spring?
Tumbleweed · F
@Ghostinthemachine I'm in an apartment so I'll find them a better container & put them on my porch. Our lawn people mow everything down...
@Tumbleweed Nice, I still hope to see them 🙂

@Tumbleweed Thank you 🙏
