Palm trees

My garden is right next to the fence where my neighbor has three large palm trees growing (where the falcons are nesting, and grackles have just moved in. Drama on the horizon)
So it’s not very surprising that seeds would fall into my yard. I’m pretty sure a palm seed has sprouted amongst the lettuce. I uprooted it and put it in its own pot. Hopefully I didn’t damage it when I pulled it. Since my little pine tree died, this is kind of welcome. This tree, at least, stands a better chance of surviving the heat.
