Swamp Flowers - Hiking today

I think in the Apple Family - had a very sweet smell


In the Iris Family - I often see yellow - first time I've seen a purple like this.


The Skunk Cabbage was moving - I half expected a hand to reach out and grab my foot as I passed.


The Detail in the Ferns was amazing - and they give off a mildly herbal scent which I love.


Hard to see it, but these guys were a soldi 4 feet tall. Biggest I've seen.

The trail in and out was a green tunnel


I've never seen a Red Maple in the woods before - but there were a few here
