Trees are amazing. I love looking at them, drawing them, touching them, walking through them. The smell of them.
Have you ever walked through an old growth forest? That is an experience not to be missed.
It is sad that all the logging companies want to do is kill them all for profit. They especially hunger for the old growth wood.
I chatted with a carpenter that had a mill at his place. He said a storm went through and knocked down 20 acres of trees near him, and he couldn't bare to see them all rot, so he started processing them. That is fair use I think, although the bugs may disagree.
