A simple miracle of nature

@bookerdana Robin's egg....a Sparrow picked it up in the woods and dropped it by the bird feeder....maybe to show me? These little creatures are like my pets in a way...

@bookerdana Robins absolutely love the bird bath - they splash half the water out and can barely take off they are so drenched....and the babies have speckled chests and it's so funny to watch them figuring out how what to do...there's always a sparrow accompanying them too....

@bookerdana They all mother each other! I noticed that the Cardinals fledglings crack open sunflower seeds and feed them to Sparrow fledglings. Sparrows beaks are not strong enough to open sunflower seeds, not even as adults...
