I wrote about being a HSP (Highly Sensitive Person) Its pros and cons..How it relaxes you, or exhausts you...either way? It overwhelms you. Yesterday I was in my local park. Off the tracks to some overgrown abandoned wastelands. But? Its not how I see it. Just by the river were the sun was beating down on me. There was a herb like smell off the plants, could be wild garlic, or watermint?..could simply just be the nettles?..but the smell opened up my senses!. To a person who does normally catch every fine detail...This place was like a jungle in my eyes. Fan like leaves, bottle green, to spring green..hollow trees, branches giving way, snapping. And with the overwhelming but amazing smell from the plants, and sun now piercing through the trees the further I went. I sat in the long grass by the riverside. And this is where it all happens..because you're so very satisfied and happy, could stay for hours on end dreaming!...Nature comes to you!..
The electric blue damselflies were flying around me in the long grass, and bush crickets could be heard in numbers And just at the river edge, a swarm of minnow were in the water in there hundreds, brushed up alongside a fallen tree, with silver lined markings on there undersides reflecting in the sun. Watching them, I looked over at the choppy part of the river, were it's fast flowing, and shallow, with dotted rocks. I could see the base was luminous green, and the ripples reflected a yellow web like pattern, it looked quite exotic to be fair. And its even small hints of beauty like that, can take you away, until something comes your way. And just behind me I heard a branch snap. A Roe Deer Stag and Doe both came by, small deer. The stag stayed for a bit, and watched me,..its special moments like this, from dear stumbling upon you, to kingfishers whizzing by close to the rivers surface. And even when life isn't in full sight...life is there!
