Nature just satisfies me, my garden project I'm working on. Yes of course to benefit nature, and also because I just have a strong passion for it...I have created a pond, with a lot of progression to still come. Wild grass seeds are down, and oxygenating plants and gravel are inside the pond. Indoors at the moment I have twenty five common frog tadpoles, as the weather caused the pond to freeze not so long ago..whilst I have them fed on boiled greens, and tadpole food, with occasional bloodworm. I am going to build a hibernaculum for the cold seasons and to escape predators like foxes. I will also leave rotten log piles near by for good use too. In the mean time, I'm planting not just grasses, but pond lilies, cattails, hornworts and not just plants that attract the frogs but i suppose you could call it their prey. Buddleja Davidii..butterfly bush to attract as many new species back into or around the garden. Butterflies might be too big for frogs though 馃馃ぃ...I'm hoping so??..馃ぃ馃ぃ馃馃.....Really looking forward to hopefully creating a more vibrant, but still mini ecosystem. 馃惛馃馃悵馃悶馃悓馃馃 Just waiting on the seeds to work their magic 馃尵馃尶
