Okaay, so I'm on what looks like deer stalking sites?, for information. No!!!..I'm not hunting deer!!! 馃ぃ...but they do give advice to disguise yourself, and I was needing it more for photography lolz...I'm a very patient person, and love nature, therefore could observe for hours. But I know deer have amazing senses...A fact I picked up on was..."Deer don't see bright reds or oranges?..Then I thought camouflage in a colour they can't detect 馃....But it's different to the natural background 馃...so maybe they will?? 馃.....Then I was thinking, yeah..just buy a camo-suit..and walk around in leaves...then I read the strangest thing...that vanilla extract is a good thing to use to cover up or disguise scent...I feel like I'm entering too much "hunter knowledge" 馃ぃ馃ぃ....but if it gets me an amazing photograph??馃...I'm up for it?.....
A lot of nature photographers approach it like hunters. You do want to be smart about it though. Particularly if there's hunters out there. What I've found, at least with deer and coyotes, is that being still and non-threatening can pay off. Especially if there's more than one. Great shot by the way. Up close and personal.
