If you are going to do this, then do it right!

https://constitutioncenter.org/interactive-constitution/white-papers/the-declaration-the-constitution-and-the-bill-of-rights
The Declaration was designed to justify breaking away from a government;

the Constitution and Bill of Rights were designed to establish a government.

The Declaration stands on its own—it has never been amended—while the Constitution has been amended 27 times. (The first ten amendments are called the Bill of Rights.)
@DeWayfarer One is an announcement (declaration), the other specifies limits on government
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Slade exactly!
@DeWayfarer as far as doing it right, I know I am. Hence "27 amendments" that defy the Declaration of Independence, my fellow connoisseur of US for A history.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@checkoutanytime the purpose if the two are different!
@DeWayfarer yes, but a Declaration is A Declaration, and states unalienable rights provided of natures laws for Natures God .
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@checkoutanytime wrong
...the Declaration, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights are different kinds of documents with different purposes. The Declaration was designed to justify breaking away from a government; the Constitution and Bill of Rights were designed to establish a government.
@DeWayfarer wrong, the Declaration, was breaking from tyranny, and forming a government FOR the people BY the people.
@DeWayfarer the Federalist papers written by Madison cover your lapse, in debate.

@checkoutanytime that link that I put up there, I put there for a reason!

I seriously believe that constitutional experts know far better than ANY layman!

And by the way this was also how I was taught back in the 1960s!
@DeWayfarer that explains, you follow "experts", I follow written word
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@checkoutanytime I know exactly what you were attempting to lead to by your initial post!

And why I gave a link by experts that know better!
@DeWayfarer rubbish, I'm as American as you, and took the time to read the words, for myself, as a competent individual, I need not experts tell me how to evaluate simple words. Good day Sir. with your fabulous fantasy.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@checkoutanytime yes Mr layman!

Have a good day! I've made my point with the link to all really truly care.
@DeWayfarer experts = 🤑🤥, covid 19 & Anthony Fauci have proven this to all.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@checkoutanytime so you are an expert? Or a Layman? 🤷‍♂️
@DeWayfarer a competent individual that comprehends the definition of words, so yes I'm a freelance expert enjoying the easy laymen life of Unity with We the People
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@checkoutanytime sounds more like an insurrectionist!
@DeWayfarer look to a mirror, is all I can say, you've already stated you believe in reflections, over source.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@checkoutanytime yes Mr layman insurrectionist that doesn't like authorities on the constitution! Or authorities on anything for the matter of fact!
@DeWayfarer the writers are the authorities, you are only fooling yourself.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@checkoutanytime please read Franklin's thoughts on religion before you start agreeing with him!
@DeWayfarer yes a lighthouse is indeed more valuable than any church, I 100% agree that religion stole the testament & abuses it. The testament is the political answer to all of societies ailments, not thieving religions, such as the woke religion.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@checkoutanytime read deeper. Woke religion or not it didn't matter to him.
@DeWayfarer content yet, Mr.Innsurcienist?
