Walking in the hills

There aren't too many hills around this area, but before the pandemic I used to go with Mum to the Chilterns, North West of London for a walk. We used to have a big Pyrenean dog named Danton. He loved the long walks in those hills. They're in Buckinghamshire.

In our walks I carried a notebook to try and identify the different trees we came across. It was such a great time for me. I was eight when we came to England. My parents had separated just after my Dad got back from his training tour. Mum didn't want the military wife status anymore, so she accepted the post in London.
