I was out kayaking fishing this morning. No bites but the quiet and serenity was all I really needed. There was hardly anyone on the lake. Birds I saw were the usual suspects but the cormorants are beginning to show up. People in motor boats get there faster and go farther but I only have to eat to fuel my ‘yak 😆. I had to post in Community a few lines from the Allman Brothers Band, “Sunny Day”. But in my case, it was ‘don’t mind me, Mr Heron; I’m floatin’ by your way’.
