@Vivaci Thank you, I was one of 6 girls and a middle child. My Mama was far too busy with my younger siblings, so it felt good to be my Grandma's favorite. 🤗💖

@Vivaci I miss them both, especially my Mama's Mother. She was my heroine and such an inspiration, a rock actually. I don't know where her strength came from but what an amazing woman she was. 🤗😘

@Vivaci I concur my friend, it's unbelievable what that dear soul lived through. Yet her courage spirit, faith and strength sustained her.

@Vivaci She lost her son on her birthday at 11 years of age, he drowned. My Mom's beautiful sister died at 23 giving birth and a few other tragic things happened. She had so much faith in God and was never bitter. I truly loved her for her beautiful soul and heart..

@sensualbeauty1 Oh dear! I'm sorry....I bet infant deaths were v common in those days....even my grandma lost two kids, a daughter n a son. My mom's elder sister was very beautiful and dainty, it seems. She died v young.

In spite of all their adversities, they lived a wholesome and fulfilling life, don't you think? They made the best of every situation.

@Vivaci Yes that's so very true and they accepted their plight in life, didn't question why, etc.,

I'm sorry to hear that about your Mom's sister as well.

My Mom told me that it haunted her for the rest of her life losing her sister. She kissed her goodnight, her sister said go home love I'll be fine. The next morning she got the call that she had died from complications giving birth.

My Mama was strong yet fragile in a way. I'll pm you to tell you why one day.

We all are very protective of her because she's so frail with her illness.

@Vivaci She's all we have left, my Dad died when I was a very young girl.

@Vivaci Yes that's so true, I'm very sorry for your loss. I'm not sure how my Mama did it raising the 4 youngest on her own but then again I know why. Just who she was as a person..🤗
