The first looks a bit like hibiscus.

@Daltonico It does but the main plant was a little different. Not a 100% sure.

@SW-User This is a Hibiscus syriacos, a hardy one in my garden in England.

@SW-User Yes that's definitely the same thing. I remember hibiscus looking a little different. My mother used to have a few and they looked a little different. It seems there's different hybrid hibiscus.
