@Ynotisay Well, as you know there are a lot of meadows in the Sierra Nevada. So, I better just tell you. This gorgeous spot is very close to Sagehen Creek in Nevada County---a little bit northwest of Truckee.
@splendid There you go. Right on. I was a bit South. Had a feeling it was in that general area. The meadows have a pretty distinct look in different parts of the Sierra. I take at least one longer backpacking trip up there every year. Usually the Eastern side of the range. You get in those mountains once and it becomes addictive, huh? Nothing like it. Thanks for sharing that.
You do know! Yes, very addictive. In fact, I've really been missing my trips there, and hope I can return this summer. It's great that you were so close with your guesses. Obviously, you know the mountains.
@splendid HA. Yeah...I'm filled with useless information that appeals to about 1% of the population. :) Hope you get up this year. Like they (sort of)say, "The mountains are calling and you must go."
