Tears From Father Sky & Mother Earth

Life was given
to us in birth,
by Father Sky
and Mother Earth.
dear brother wolf
and brother bear,
It seems some humans
just do not care.

Our sacred Mother
she brings us water,
but the human race
is eager to slaughter.
sister sparrow she’s
flying high and free,
with no-where to land
we cut down her trees.

The cerulean Sky
is turning black,
empathy for life
some humans lack.
trash is scattered
far and wide,
my human family
have you no pride?

Swirls of plastic choke
life from the sea,
can you not hear
their aquatic pleas?

Life was given

what will we do with
the life they gave?
will we our own
destruction stave?
