I Love Nature

Its been an exceptionally cold frigid Winter so far in 2018. One can have an appreciation of staying warm by the fire after spending a little time outside in that bitter cold. The upside has been some spectacular sunrises and sunsets. The cold seems to have magnified its beauty somehow. I was on my way to an appointment late yesterday afternoon. I fortunately was able to take a pic of this beautiful sunset just coming off the Hwy.

There certainly is a rough time up there...we watch it on tv...only too hot here, but luckily no troubles...heard 17 people died in NY...so sad indeed.
@SW-User Nature can be cruel in its intensity or incredibly beautiful. Sadly enough they're always some catastrophic events that occur that wreck or play havoc and tragically lives are lost. Ironically it's the anniversary of the ice storm from 20 years ago here in these parts of North America. Sadly lives were taken during that icy blast of nature as well. Hopefully it's not too warm where you are.

@sensualbeauty1 Nature is of course beautiful...but things happen and some of them are due to mankind disregarding environmental issues...not this "Bomb Storm" as it is called here.
@SW-User It's a very controversial subject and like many topics in life people will either agree or disagree. Whatever it is, like many storms it can be very catastrophic in its intensity. I concur that we have to look after this beautiful planet we call home or it will one day no longer exist.

@sensualbeauty1 I cant imagine anyone disagreeing about minding environment...not saying what´s happening up there is due to that.
@SW-User I'm not certain as I'm no expert on climate and environmental issues nor do I proclaim to be. I just know it's been cruel in its intensity and caused major destruction in its path.

@sensualbeauty1 No need to be an expert...just listen to those who are. Now you may think as it pleases you more...I´m all for protecting this world for the sake of those who´ll come later. Like my two girls...you dont seem to get my point I think...nothing against your post.
@SW-User I concur and thank you. One only needs to look at what's surrounding us with all the imminent signs. Its all about future generations and how one must be vigilant about protecting what is ours to make it a safe and beautiful environment in which to live. Let's hope our children and theirs will have a great world in which to coexist in.

@sensualbeauty1 A tough task...but fingers crossed.
@SW-User Yes indeed and let us hope for the best. Enjoy your day with your daughters. Cheers
