Living in a country that has 4 seasons has its benefits. Although it might make for traffic chaos and treacherousous road conditions at times. It never can be deemed mediocre with the beautiful almost magical scenery especially after freezing rain combined with fresh snowfall. This caught my eye in my backyard, as the sun shone on the trees tops giving them a glittering silver hue.

@Arorin Beautiful pic thanks for sharing. There is so much beauty in all landscapes and seascapes though don't you think? One of the reasons why it's important to capture that perfect moment in time before it's lost.
@Arorin I totally agree about that. One should take the time to peruse it all if they can. Unfortunately some of the world is caught up in all the glam and glitter and with all the newest technology. They just don't take the precious time to see what surrounds us.
I would blame media and politics more than I would technology. Everyone is caught up in their own political cause or everyday life struggle. I distance myself from that world to see our real world our beautiful world.
@Arorin I've previously worked in the high tech environment so I've seen how quickly progression evolves and technology is their world.. Politics is definitely another reason or perhaps it's just that there are those who have never taken the time to see it the way we do as they are living in the concrete jungle.
@Arorin Well I guess there can be beauty there as well. I used to live in the city and did see it in places. Although now I'm a little biased as a country girl. 👄
@sensualbeauty1 as well as I since I am also a country guy, but my favorite color is grey and I love how the snowfall looks while in the city. I like to watch it falling I don't like it to stay.
@Arorin I love a fresh snowfall and that is a great pic. I'm a real Summer gal but love the contrast of other seasons and all that they represent..I kind of favor colour but grey or BW is classic and beautiful.
