70,000 homes have already lost power

Update
Downgraded to Cat 1 overnight. 260,000 homes now without power. Has since been Downgraded further to a Tropical Low. Rain still a problem and localised flooding expected.





Alfred currently due to cross the coast 12 noon Saturday. Cat 2 up to 800mm rain possible.
