Anyone experience the Non hurricane that hit southeast Florida Wednesday and Thursday? A friend of mine said that it was pretty bad and she had little to no warning of a storm like that coming. She sent me this chart of recorded wind speeds that are absurd. Not sure how the meteorologist missed this one.

@Confined 71 mph SUSTAINED winds, that means if it constantly pulls that number throughout the core and out. These are wind GUSTS meaning top speed for a short burst. This was not a hurricane due to its organization (no true core has formed) nor was this a tropical storm as it is too loose and small for it to go into the category
