Just a thought for those that are recovering from hurricane Ian.
Politics aside, please have a thought or more for those that have passed away because of this historical hurricane, as well as for those that are currently suffering in the wake of this disaster.
I often say that life is change and that is true enough. Yet I am not without compassion for those in need. And there are many, in this drastic change, in need.
It's what change is all about. For after the drastic change there is often new life, new ideas and new ways of doing things.
To remain stagnant after such a drastic change is not have compassion for those that have survived.
So I say to the leaders as well as the people of that state, please don't remain stagnant despite your values of not changing. For in change some of histories greatest works have occurred.
It is possible that I know of a few that have either passed or are currently suffering. One was a very dear childhood friend, though she possibly never realized how much I valued her. She lived near Orlando Florida.
My thoughts most especially go out to her. I can only hope she and hers is doing good and well.

A candle will be lit for her.
